InterLock® A raised ring inside the jacket that embeds in the lead core to “lock” the bullet core to the jacket to retain mass and energy during expansion.  Design features exposed lead tips for controlled expansion and most have a gradual nose taper to produce a higher Ballistic Coefficient, this design is referred to as a secant ogive.
