Production rifles from a variety of manufactures can be found in a variety of barrel twists, the versitle 1:12” is suited for bullets up to 63 grains. Early Remington Model 700 chambered in 22-250 had a 1:14” to obtain max velocity with lighter bullets. Many modern production rifles have 1:9 or 10” to stabilize 65-70 grain bullets and obtain accuracy with 52-55 grain bullets
