Box with 50 new Hornady #8644 unprimed 8X57mm JRS (Rimmed 8X57mm Mauser) cartridge cases.  

HISTORY: Used in single-shot and combination rifles.  The 8X57 JRS MAUSER was introduced in 1888 originally with .318 diameter bullets.   Later adopted to S-TYPE .323 diameter bullets in 1905, this is about the same time the same change was made in the military version 8X57 JS.
