USED RCBS #55000 40-70 BALLARD  used 3-DIE SET.  Condition: Very clean custom die set, shows very little use. Can also be used on 40-63 Ballard

Requires RCBS #04 Shell Holder sold separate.  Actual set pictured in box

Both 40-63 and 40-70 Ballard’s have identical outside dimensions, according to “Cartridges of the World” 6th Edition page 119  a 40-63 is a heavier case version of the then factory 40-70.  Both cases originated from a 40-65 Everlasting and was first used in the Ballard Perfection No. 4 and Pacific No. 5.  Performance practically the same a s40-72 Winchester.
