REMINGTON  CORE-LOKT rifle ammunition 170 grain  Soft Point (SP) bullet, 2250 fps

Offered originally in 1895 in Winchester Model 94 lever action.  The marketing concept was a smokeless cartridge that could be reloaded easily with black powder, which was a common item then.

Core-Lokt bullets, lead core is “locked” to the copper jacket by a hour glass internal cavity.  This in effects remains intact while the front of the bullet mushrooms on impact.
