Historical facts: 32 S&W usually known as 32 S&W SHORT, was released in 1878 for use in the Smith & Wesson Pocket Revolvers, more commonly known as “belly guns”. With a charge of 9 grains of black powder, the idea was a low-power round that could travel the distance of a card table.
Case length .595-.602 inches, OAL .92 inches, uses .312 diameter bullets.
