A Winchester classic that was unveiled in the then new Model 54 in 1925.  A simple and still effective flat shooting hunting cartridge based on the 30-06 necked down to shoot lighter bullets, the 130-grain considered the standard weight originally.  Actually bullet weights of 150-grain are proven performers.
