Description
Factory new HORNADY unprimed 22 Hornet (5.6 X 35 mm) brass rifle cartridge cases. 50 PCS
There are two bore diameters associated with the 22 Hornet, .223 in most riflesw prior to WWII and common .224 on more modern versions. Experiments conducted at Springfield Armory evolved into the Hornet, which is not similar to any current cartridge. Case walls are thin and easy to crush when reloading if the dies are not adjusted properly. The common twist is 1:16 so 40 and 45 grain bullets seem to work the best with slow pistol and fast rifle powders.
