I thought you might be interested in my random sampling of 10x Sig 30-06 Springfield brass pieces. It is every bit as consistent as both Peterson and Lapua in weight, neck wall thickness, datum length, and overall case length. In fact, it is the same or better than both other (higher-end) brass producers in standard deviation and extreme spread on all of the measurements. I would not hesitate to purchase it again, if the brass holds up as well to firings.

History:  The 22-250 Remington was one of the few wildcats cartridges that achieved factory production without undergoing design changes.   A  250 Savage necked down to accept .224 diameter bullet. In 1937 gunsmith J.E. Gebby gave the design a 28 degree shoulder and named it  “22 VARMINTER”, In 1964 design went on to be known as the 22-250 REMINGTON.  That same year Winchester discontinued chambering Model 70’s in 220 Swift along with the 22-250 proven accuracy elevated in status and popularity.  Proper bullet selection enables the 22-250 to perform well on targets, varmints and antelope (where legal).  To shop current .224 diameter bullets click here.
